Recently "topped off" at 742 feet, One Dalton is Boston's newest skyscraper and the city's third tallest building. When complete, it will house a xx-room Four Seasons Hotel and 160 homes, including three luxury penthouses. Union carpenters are proud to be performing all of the carpentry work on this signature project, working for Suffolk Construction and premier subcontractors. More than 700 trades workers have already been employed on the project.
Carpenters and our affiliated trades on the project will include: pile driving; concrete; curtain wall/window installation; metal stud framing and drywall installation; ceilings; doors and hardware; furniture and fixture installation; trim/finish and floorcovering. From start to finish, members of the Carpenters union are on site.
The skill and efficiency of union carpenters has been evident as the building started to rise from the ground. Working with union carpenters, G&C Concrete was averaging adding a floor and a half of poured in place concrete EACH WEEK using the DOKA system.
When the project is completed, the 61-story building will be the tallest residential tower in New England.
